Disclaimer
Last updated: 29 September 2026.
This website is for informational purposes only. Lotto49s publishes lottery results so you can read and check them quickly. It is not an official source, it sells nothing, and a page here is not proof that you have won.
This page sets out clearly what the site does and does not do. It is not legal advice.
Not affiliated with any lottery operator
Lotto49s is not affiliated with or endorsed by any official lottery operator: not the South African National Lottery (run by Sizekhaya Holdings since 1 June 2026, and by Ithuba before that), not the National Lotteries Commission, and not 49's Ltd, nor any bookmaker or retailer. We do not hold the draws and do not know the results in advance.
The names of the operators and their games belong to their owners and appear only to identify the draw a page is about.
The operator is the reference, not this site
Every number here is published for reference. We read each draw from more than one source and explain our method in full; even so, a source can make a mistake and the software that reads results can get it wrong. We do not guarantee that every number, amount, draw number or date on this site is correct and complete.
Please verify all winning tickets with the official operator before you claim: the National Lottery's official results for Lotto, PowerBall and Daily Lotto, and 49's Ltd's official results or your bookmaker for the UK 49's. That is the reference. If it differs from this site, this site is wrong.
While a draw is under way, the numbers on the page are a first reading and are marked as such until a second source confirms them. The ticket checker compares your numbers with the results the site holds at that moment; like everything else here, it is not official.
If a number here differs from the official one
The official result is right and we are wrong. Do not act on this site: take your ticket or betting slip to a lottery retailer or your bookmaker and have it checked there.
Then let us know, with the game, the date of the draw and the numbers as the operator publishes them. We will compare and correct them.
When a published result changes, the change is recorded with the date and the reason. No number is corrected silently, and that log is the record of every time this site was wrong.
We do not sell tickets, take bets or pay prizes
You cannot buy tickets, place bets or claim prizes on this site. We take no money from readers, hold no draws and accept no bets. There is nothing to pay here.
National Lottery tickets are sold only through the channels the operator authorises, and Lucky Numbers on the UK 49's are offered by licensed bookmakers. We do not link to ticket sellers or betting services, and we ask our ad networks to block gambling and betting ads.
18 and over
This site is written for adults aged 18 and over and is not aimed at minors; in South Africa nobody under 18 may play the lottery or gamble. Lotteries and bookmakers pay out less than they take in, so on average players lose money; please read the responsible gambling page before you spend.
No predictions
Every draw is random. Past results have no influence on the next one. The statistics on this site describe what has already happened and predict nothing. We do not publish tips, "hot numbers" or predictions.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that results from relying on what is published here, including prizes not claimed within the operator's or bookmaker's time limit. The terms of use explain this in more detail.
