If you are writing about a result, put the game and the date of the draw in the subject line. Short messages with all the details get answered faster.
A result on the site is wrong
This is the message we most want to receive. Tell us the game, the date of the draw, the numbers this site shows and the ones the operator publishes, with a link if you have one. We will compare and correct them.
Every change to a published result is recorded with the date and the reason. If you are deciding whether to claim a prize, do not wait for us: the operator's official result is the reference.

For source sites: credit and removal
We read several sites that publish results alongside the operators, and we name each of them. If you run one and want us to change how you are credited, or to stop reading it, write to us and we will.
The same address handles copyright and trade mark complaints. Lottery results are public information and we publish them as data, but an image, a document or a piece of writing is not, and we will remove anything that belongs to you and that we should not have.
Personal information
The person responsible for personal information on this site under POPIA is whoever runs it, at [email protected]. There is no larger organisation to pass a request on to.
Write here to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to withdraw consent. We reply within thirty days. The privacy policy lists what we keep, which is very little: the site needs no account, the ticket checker runs in your browser and saved tickets live in your browser's storage.
What we cannot do
- We cannot confirm that you have won. Only the operator's official results do that, and only the operator, or your bookmaker for Lucky Numbers, pays out.
- We do not sell tickets, take bets, pay prizes or buy tickets for you.
- We are not a lottery operator or a bookmaker: we cannot answer for one, change a result or say anything about a draw before it happens.
- We never call, message or email winners, and we never ask anyone for money. Anyone claiming to be Lotto49s who asks you for money is scamming you.
